Catherine (Audia) Oliverio

Catherine Oliverio, 87, of Washington died Wednesday April 26, 2017 in Southmont Presbyterian Senior Care.

She was born November 2, 1929 in Washington the daughter of Benjamin and Rose Rotunda Audia.

Mrs. Oliverio was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church in Washington.

She graduated from Trinity High School in Washington in 1949.

Mrs. Oliverio was a member of various teams in the bowling leagues at the Alpine Lanes in Washington for many years.

She enjoyed family and friends and especially her grandchildren.

Over a span of many years she attended all of her grandchildren’s sporting events from the age of 4 until through college sports.

She also loved to travel.

On September 20, 1950 in Immaculate Conception Church in Washington, she married Anthony Oliverio who survives.

Surviving is her daughter Rosemarie (George David) Leasure of Washington and two grandchildren Nicole (Dan) Bull of Washington and David (Amanda) Leasure of Washington.  Also surviving are five great grandchildren Bella, Lydia and Camden Bull and Garrett and Madison Leasure and two sisters Mary Russo of Chino Hills, CA and Jean Yanni of Washington and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister Theresa Frank.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Ave. Washington where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 29, 2017.  Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray.
