“Loved her career in nursing”

Cora Jo Kimberland Adams, 67, of Canonsburg passed away Monday March 19, 2018 in Washington Hospital.

She was born May 19, 1950 in Canonsburg the daughter of the late Harold Vincent, Sr. and Mary Amorose Kimberland.

She was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School class of 1968.

Mrs. Adams was employed as a secretary for Canon-McMillan High School and then for several years for District Justice Walter Mark in Canonsburg. She then decided to pursue a career in nursing and attended Western Area Vo-Tech school and earned her degree as an LPN in nursing.

She loved baking wedding cakes and enjoyed arts and crafts. Most of all, she loved spending time with family. Playing on her Kindle Fire brought her a great deal of entertainment as well as watching her favorite shows on TV.

Surviving are two daughters Tara Stokes of Canonsburg and Tiffany Stokes of Canonsburg, one sister Peggy (Carl) Martelli of Bridgeville and one brother Harold (Ginny) Kimberland of McDonald. Also surviving are two grandchildren Leah Schrimsher and Nathanyal Patterson, Jr. and two great grandchildren Izabelle and Aylah Reeves and many cousins.
