Donald L. Kuhn, 94, of Washington passed away Saturday July 1, 2017.
He was born June 24, 1923 in Washington the son of Roy and Lena Elliott Kuhn.
Mr. Kuhn was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church in Washington.
He was a veteran of WWII having served in the United States Army in the European Theater for two years and ten months in England, Germany and France.
He was a member of the Pulaski Club in Washington and loved following professional baseball and football. He enjoyed tending his garden and raising vegetables.
Mr. Kuhn was employed as an assembler by Pennsylvania Transformer and McGraw Edison in Canonsburg for 35 years.
On February 3, 1947 in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church in Washington, he married Helen G. Gura who survives.
Surviving are two daughters Linda Liggett of Bethel Park and Denise (Charles) Morrison of Venetia, and two sons Donald (Darlene) Kuhn, Jr. of Avella and Dennis (Patti) Kuhn of Canton, GA.
Also surviving are five grandchildren Jason Liggett, Jennifer (Andrew) Allen, Heather Charlier, Nathan Morrison and Rachel Morrison, and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Evelyn Kuhn and Norma Jean Stickle.
At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday July 3, 2017 in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church at 320 Henderson Ave. in Washington. Entombment will be held in private in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum.
