Patricia “Patty” Ann Hughes, 54 of Washington passed away peacefully with family by her  side on Thursday, November 9th 2017. 

She was born August 1st, 1963 to the late James and Verna Fox Taylor. 

Patty enjoyed spending time at the casino and was a member of the Pulaski Club of Washington. Above all her favorite time spent was with her grandchildren. 

People that knew her best would describe Patty as loving, funny and full of generosity. She will always be remembered for her humorous one-liners, fiery yet charming personality and bright red hair. 

Patty is survived by her son Justin (Caitlin) Taylor, and daughter Megan Hughes and her three grandchildren Mia, Jobe and Baby due in June 2018. Also surviving is her loving boyfriend Kenny Riser, siblings Debbie, Lena (Jimmy), Harry (Jenny), Amy (Chris) and several nieces and nephews and the father of her children Edward Hughes. 

Deceased in addition to her parents are her sister Jamie and brother Jimmy.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Ave. in Washington.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday November 13, 2017 in DeAngelo Funeral Home with Justin Taylor and Pastor Aaron Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
