Edward A. Rosenwald, 88, of Canonsburg passed away Saturday May 19, 2018 in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born November 23, 1929 in McKees Rocks the son of the late Lawrence and Marie Lindfelser Rosenwald.
Mr. Rosenwald was a graduate of St. Francis De Sales High School in McKees Rocks.
He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg and a member of the PNCU in Canonsburg.
He enjoyed bowling, Playing cards and was an avid Steelers and Pirates Fan.
Cliff Heath Ford employed him as a Cashier and Book Keeper for fifty years.
On September 13, 1958 in Holy Innocents Church in Sheridan he married Mary Jane Herriott who survives.
Surviving are two daughters Patricia (Ajay) White of Cecil and Donna (Lloyd) Leichliter of McDonald and two sons Lawrence (Kristine) Rosenwald of Canonsburg and David (Susan) Rosenwald of Glen Burnie, MD. Also surviving are two sisters Peggy Barker of McKees Rocks and Kate Wheeler of Brookline, fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Decease in addition to his parents is a daughter Deborah L. Rosenwald, sisters Rose Draucker and Mary Brown, brothers Lawrence, Frank and Joseph Rosenwald and a great granddaughter Hope Noelle Zirwas.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College Street in Canonsburg. Departing prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday May 22, 2018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens in Peters Township.
