Elizabeth (Joseph) Romankewicz

Elizabeth “Libby” Romankewicz (Roman), passed away Sunday August 27, 2017.

She was born December 8, 1926 in Canonsburg the daughter of Shady and Katherine Ashey Joseph. 

Mrs. Romankewicz was employed by General Woodcrafting Company for over 38 years.

She enjoyed her family, reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, and monthly luncheons with her classmates, the Canonsburg High School Class of 1944.

Her husband Henry Romankewicz (Roman) passed away April 4, 1992.

Surviving are her son Michael Romankewicz of Canonsburg and her daughter Nancy (Jerry )Polen of Washington. 

Also surviving are her granddaughter Eva Roman and her husband Geoffrey Popovich, and her grandson Adam (Danielle) Roman and; and great grandchildren Henry Roman Popovich, Gabriel Roman Popovich, Gemma Elizabeth Roman and Gia Rose Roman, and a brother Thomas (Carolyn) Shady of Las Vegas, NV.

Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and their children. 

Deceased are her brothers Joseph, Michael, Phillip and Richard Shady and a sister Josephine Martin.

At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation.
