Ida Jean Marth, 91, of Washington passed away Thursday November 2, 2017 in Southmont Presbyterian Senior Care in Washington.
She was born March 6, 1926 in Beth Center, the daughter of Ivan and Kathryn Rutan Bambarger.
She enjoyed cooking and baking and managed Linden Creek Nursing Home in Eighty-four, PA.
Her Husband Russell William “Bill” Marth preceded her in death on June 12, 2002.
Surviving is a daughter Mary Kay (Gary) Riggle of Amity and a son James (Shirley) Marth of Phoenix, AZ and seven grandchildren Sean Riggle, Shelby Riggle, Tina Kostival, Paul Roth, Aubrey Roth, William Marth II, and Alexander Marth and several great grandchildren. Also surviving is a daughter in law Veronica Marth with whom she enjoyed a special friendship.
She was preceded in death by two sons William R. Marth Sr., and Paul Stephen Roth.
Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday November 6, 2017 in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Ave. in Washington, the time and place of blessing service, followed by interment in North Ten Mile Church Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
