Kevin R. Flynn, 61, of Washington passed away Wednesday October 11, 2017 in Transitions Health Care in Washington.

He was born April 25, 1956 in Washington the son of the late Bernard J. Flynn and Phyllis D. Beaumariage Flynn Lindley of Washington.

Mr. Flynn was Catholic.  During his youth he attended John F. Kennedy Catholic School and was a graduate of Trinity High School Class of 1974.

He enjoyed sports, especially Steelers Football, Pirates Baseball and Penguins Hockey.

For thirty-seven years he was employed at Bob Evans Restaurant on Oak Spring Road in Washington.

On July 8, 1989 in Bethel Church, Prosperity, he married Sheree L. Lewis who passed away May 11, 2012

In addition to his mother, Phyllis D. Lindley, he is survived by a sister Cynthia (Ed) Clapper of New Wilmington, and two brothers Brian (Linda) Flynn of Claysville and Daniel (Elizabeth) Flynn of Washington.   Also surviving are nieces and nephews Megan Knous, Wesley Clapper, Terri Galownia, Melissa McCord, Kelsey Flynn and Allison Flynn and a few great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Ave. in Washington.

A Blessing Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday October 14, 2017 in the funeral home followed by interment in The Washington Cemetery.
