Martha L. Rush, 90, of Washington passed away Monday February 27, 2017 in her home.
She was born February 22, 1927 in Washington the daughter of Mason and Loretta Khalil Abbas.
Mrs. Rush was a graduate of Washington High School.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Washington.
Peacock, Keller, Yohe and Day law firm in Washington employed her as a deed preparer for many years.
She loved caring for her family.
Her husband Marvin Rush died in 1991.
Surviving is a daughter Dianne Kennedy of Washington, two grandchildren Tricia and Anthony (Julie) Kennedy, her sisters and brother Cecilia (Alex) George of Washington, Mitchell (Doris) Abbas of Washington and Alberta Heirs of Pittsburgh, a sister in law Rita Abbas of Cincinnati, OH and a brother in law Louis Ragona of Washington. Also surviving are four great grandchildren Alex, Alexyss, Jordana and Amara Kennedy and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Henry Abbas, Joseph Abbas, Adele Banister and Dolores Ragona.
At the request of the deceased viewing will be private. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 4, 2017 in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Washington. Entombment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery Mausoleum.
