Though it is nearly 5 years after Mr. Diaz's passing I wanted to share to encourage you that he is not forgotten! I have been thinking of him a lot lately with the impact he made on so many students at Fort Cherry School District in his years as principal there.
As many have said he was so kind, patient, caring and respectful to those around him each day. I appreciate his faith in our Lord, and was able to see that through in his conduct even as a child. Every year on the day of See you at the Pole, a student-led prayer gathering, I think of him. He would come out and join us that morning, and it was another powerful testimony to his school community of his unwavering faith. We were pleased to have him there, almost as our protector, but more importantly as our friend and encourager to continue on fighting the good fight.
What a remarkable man; thank you for sharing the whole story of his life, as his students only knew one part of it, but how great it was!
He is truly missed here on Earth, but we share the peace of knowing he lives on with Our Lord, and in the hearts of so many!

Darlene, Dink was a dear friend of my late husband, Glenn McMahon, and was a groomsman in our wedding. Glenn cherished their friendship and they shared the love of many sports. Our paths have not passed in many years. I pray for God's richest blessings to be poured out abundantly on you and your entire family. May He give you comfort, strength, and peace to face the days ahead. Our God will not forsake you. He is our rock and our salvation. God's peace, Wanda McMahon

I was so sad to hear of the passing of my sixth grade teacher. He was a man of influence for so many lives. He was unforgettable to me because of his kindness and understanding during a very difficult year of my childhood. His calm demeanor changed me for the better and helped me be prepared to navigate my school years to come. His children were blessed to have him as a father. Heaven is richer for his arrival.

We were deeply saddened by the passing of cousin Milton, aka Dinker. He was a good man in every respect of the expression and was a splendid role model for all of those who came in contact with him as an educator and family man. The world needs more people like him. Darlene, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. With God's help, may you find the strength to carry on without Dinker at your side.

My deepest condolences to the family. Please know that Mr. Diaz's enthusiasm for teaching positively impacted many of us at CCA. Great teachers like him inspire and enrich the education and future of the youth, and I think there is little that is less important in this life.

Dear Darlene & Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. You and Milt (Dink) Darlene have always been an example of how a Christian Couple should treat each other, family members, and the many lives you have touched in so many ways. You both have always been true "vessels of God's Love." Milt touched our lives in many ways. He was always good to our kids from the track through his involvement with the VBS Program at Central ... especially the several years he took our kids back and forth on the bus. Milt was a man in every sense of the word and more importantly, he was a Godly Man. We have so many memories of Milt, including when our boys from South Fayette took on those Rangers from Fort Cherry. What a rival that used to be. Milt truly "Fought a good fight and finished his course keeping the faith." He has already heard those words "Well Done!" We would love to visit with you on Saturday but we have a wedding. May the comforting presence of The Holy Spirit surround you today and each day forward. Love, Pastor Joe and Marcy DiDonato along with our sons and family.

Dearest Darlene, Cindy, Paul, Alicia, Shawn, Grandchildren and family members!
Carol and I and family share our love, prayers, and comfort with you. Milton has
now gone away from us, but thank God, he has entered into the very Presence of
our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who said, "today you shall be with me in Paradise."
While here on earth, Milton was a very strong and faithful man of God, serving family,
church, community with the Spirit of knowledge, wisdom, and discernment, gifts that
made him a person of productivity in all phases of his life-endeavors. Truly a man
who blessed by God and who passed on many of those blessings on to all of us!
With our Love and Prayers,
Pastor Ralph Volpe, Carol and Family

October 20, 2017 4:56 PM

Dear Pastor Volpe, Carol and family,

What a blessing it was to hear from you during our time of grieving but thank God we don't grieve the way the world does!

We could not have arrived at many of the truths of God's word had it not been for the solid foundation that your ministry helped to build in us. Truly, walls of faith have been built on that foundation that protect us through times like these.

We are indebted eternally for the many unseen sacrifices that your entire family made so that the gospel went forth as it did to us.

We love you and miss you all, pray for you often, and realize and rejoice that we are only in phase one of a blessed eternity!

In Christ,

Paul
