Richard A. Shellogg, 71, of Canton Township passed away Friday March 24, 2017 in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born June 19, 1945 in Washington the son of the late Richard A. and Rose Skorak Shellogg.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Washington.
He enjoyed model railroading, doing word puzzles, and reading.
He loved watching travel programming on TV and dreamed of traveling all over the world someday.
Mayview State Hospital employed him as a Nurses Aid. He served as a shop steward for the ASCME Local Union while working at Mayview.
Surviving are a son Bryan (Kelly) Shellogg of Ferguson MO, a sister Patricia Seal of Los Angeles, CA and an Aunt Mary Hopkinson of Southview, PA.
Also surviving is his faithful feline “Jimmy the Cat”.
In addition to his parents Richard and Rose, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Shellogg and a brother-in-law James L. Seal.
