Sandra Lee Verdichio Dungee, 70, of Nanuet, NY passed away Monday October 1, 2018 at Calvary Hospital in New York.

She was born July 28, 1948 in Canonsburg a Daughter of the late James and Helena Rattenni Verdichio. 

Mrs. Dungee was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School Class of 1966.

During her time living in Canonsburg, she was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

She was a great cook and baker and an avid Steelers fan, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her granddaughter, Haleena.

Mrs. Dungee was a hard worker her entire life and took great pride in taking care of her family.

On February 14, 2003 she married her love David A. Dungee originally of Canonsburg, PA.

Surviving is a daughter Jamie Lynn Davis of Nanuet and one granddaughter Haleena Davis also of Nanuet.

Also surviving is a sister Jean (Bernie) Blanco of Southpointe, a brother in law John Hall and four nephews Bernie Blanco, Jim Blanco, Steve Bardos, Jason Hall, a niece Karen Bond, as well as two Sisters in law Linda Ebore and Donna Ebore and as many nieces and nephews within David’s family

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Judith Hall and Janet Amond and two infant sons Jeffrey and Christopher.

Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College Street in Canonsburg.  Departing prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday October 5, 2018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church; 317 West Pike Street in Canonsburg.

Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery in Canonsburg.
