Stephen “Stevie” Landry, 69, of Canonsburg passed away in his home with his loving girlfriend Sharon Ringeisen by his side on Wednesday October 3, 2018 following a lengthy battle with lung disease.
He was born June 7, 1949 in Gloucester, MA the son Maurice and Edna Devlin Landry.
Mr. Landry was a graduate of Gloucester High School Class of 1967.
Following high school he enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Era.
Mr. Landry enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his grandchildren.
He worked as a chef and back stage caterer for the stars at Starlake for many years in addition to catering for other events.
He was well known for his sense of humor and was known by many as a “jokester”.
Surviving are his son Jason Landry of New Market, NH and Linda (Ray) Hopps, and Denise Johansen both of South Dartmouth, MA and Beth (John) Fosberry of Gloucester, MA. He was the loving “Pappy” of Cole, Jack Henry and Alec Landry and Jackson, Allison and Mason Sammel and Xander, Zane and Savannah Mahoney.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation and all arrangements are private. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
