Steven Philip Brockway
Known by family and friends as “Iron Man”
Steven Philip Brockway, 45, of Muse passed away May 22, 2018 after a four-year courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Batavia, NY on January 29, 1973, the son of Gary (wife Rebecca) Brockway and Donna Brockway of Canonsburg, PA.
He was a graduate of Canon McMillan High School Class of 1992.
He was a truck driver and crane operator for Superior Walls in Carnegie.
In addition to being survived by his parents, he was the beloved father of Matthew and Jonathon Brockway both of Etna.
Also survived by the love of his life Tysha Barros whom he planned to marry in September and two sisters Kristy Brockway of Florida and Maria (Steve) Walsh of Batavia, NY and two brothers John (Carol) Brockway of New Hampshire and Anthony (Jacqui) Kern of Florida and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews and a great niece.
He enjoyed a special friendship with his Aunt Tess and lifelong friends Mick and Jana Palmer of Washington.
Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Saturday in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College Street in Canonsburg immediately followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Steven Parkhill officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to DeAngelo Funeral Home to help offset final expenses.
