Annabelle McMillan, 91, of Hickory died Sunday August 23, 2015 in Washington County Health Center.
She was born August 9, 1924 in Washington the daughter of Joseph and Georgia Mull Marth.
Mrs. McMillan was protestant. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Township Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
She loved to spoil her grandchildren and was affectionately know by them as “grandma green candy”.
Mrs. McMillan was a homemaker and the widow of Samuel Brady McMillan who died March 23, 1993.
Surviving is a son Samuel Russell (Brenda) McMillan of Hickory and a daughter Georgia (Louis) Minger of Weirton, WV and her grandchildren Samuel Brady (Michelle) McMillan, Sean Anthony McMillan, Jessica McMillan and Russell Winland, and one great grandson Hunter McMillan, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McMillan was the last of her immediate family.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Ave. in Washington. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 26, 2015 with Pastor Joseph Jeffries officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Hickory.
