Barbara Findling, 89, of Washington passed away Monday November 15, 2021 in Premier Health Center in Washington.
She was born August 5, 1932 in Burgettstown the daughter of the late Frank William and Margaret Deporter Hodge.
Mrs. Findling enjoyed playing Bingo and bowling in a league with her husband.
She lived her entire life in the Washington area.
She was employed as a cook at various places in the Washington area, most recently at Denny’s from where she retired.
On June 13, 1953 she married Raymond Earl Findling who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons Glenn Robert (Ethel) Findling of Latrobe and Raymond Earl Findling, Jr. of Washington.
Also surviving are a sister Elizabeth L. Kunkle of New Stanton, a brother Edward Frank of the state of California, a sister-in-law Roberta "Bobbie" Findling of Washington, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Margaret (Peggy) Steele.
Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington. Interment in Forest Lawn Gardens will be held in private.
