Cesare E. Horwath, 69, a lifelong resident of Canonsburg passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2023 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, following a one month illness.
He was born March 8, 1954 in Canonsburg the son of the late Steve and Antonina (Tiny) Falconi Horwath.
Mr. Horwath was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Washington and attended West Liberty College.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and woodworking.
Cesare was a retired steel worker from ATI_Allegheny Ludlum (Jessop Steel)
Cesare was a member of the PNU and Palanka Sportman’s Club.
On October 4, 1975 in St. Hilary Church, he married Debra I. Ruscello who resides in Canonsburg.
Surviving are a daughter Leslie and a son Steven, and a treasured grandson who called him “Nonno”, Ryder.
He is the brother to Marie (Terry) Osborn and Steffanie (Ron) Iorio, brother in law to Joseph Ruscello and son in law to Phyllis Ruscello. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is also survived by a grand-dog “Lucy”.
Deceased is his father in law Ralph “Dukee” Ruscello.
Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home in Canonsburg. All other arrangements are private and held at the convenience of the family.
