Chester Ozarowsky passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016, in Washington County Health Center.

He was born January 18, 1929, in Crucible, a son of Anthony and Mary Janik Ozarowsky.

Mr. Ozarowsky attended Washington High School.

He served in the U.S. Navy as an electronic technician on the U.S.S. Coral Sea.

Mr. Ozarowsky worked at Hazel Atlas Glass Factory, Signal Delivery, Deauville Management and Ryairflow.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Robert) Paletta; four grandchildren, Anthony, Alexandria, Anastasia and Angelica Paletta; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are his wife, Elsie Fraley Ozarowsky, who passed away January 25, 2016, and siblings Pauline (Andrew) Kashawlic, Valentine (Mary), Frank, Anthony, Walter and Eddie Ozarowsky and Helen Ozark.

Mr. Ozarowsky met the love of his life, Elsie, who hailed from Martin County, Ky., in Washington. They were married July 12, 1957. Together, they were endlessly generous and supportive to their entire family and many friends.

He was an avid handyman about the house and was routinely tinkering in the yard when the weather was fair. He was a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed golf, both watching and participating in the sport at his regular destination, Double Dam, where he would always walk the course.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for both Mr. Ozarowsky and his wife at noon Saturday, February 27, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, Washington. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery, with full military rites accorded by American Legion Post 175 and the U.S. Navy. Arrangements are entrusted to DeAngelo Funeral Home, Washington.
