Daniel Hershel Harvey, 68, of Washington passed away on February 12, 2022.

He was born October 2, 1953 in Morgantown, WV the son of the late William “Hershel” Harvey and Shirley Hypes Harvey who resides in Porter, TX.

Dan was retired from Gander Mountain as a firearm sales person, but had also worked as a mechanic, truck driver and nursing assistant. He loved the outdoors, shooting sporting clays, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Catherine Phillis “Katy” and son Zachary, his mother Shirley, two sisters Vicki Harvey Walker and spouse Jerry of Texas and Lilly Mae Harvey of FL; his in laws George “Irv” Phillis and Bernie; Sister-in-law Cindy; Brother-in-law Ralph Phillis and Lisa. Deceased is a niece, Megan. Surviving are his nieces and nephews, Nick (Chelsie), Melissa (Matt), and Seth, and great nieces and nephews, Reed, Olivia, Rory, Ryan and Rivers.
