David Thomas Obituary

David Thomas, 88 years old passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born March 23, 1932 in Norfolk Virginia to Richard and Ida (Habermier) Thomas. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 68 years; Joanne (Ferrell) Thomas and six children, Susan (Matt) Pope of Port St. Lucie Florida, David (Sheri) Thomas Jr. of San Clemente California, Patricia (Nick) Muncie of Claysville, Daniel (Melissa Martin) of Washington, Dennis Thomas and Diane Thomas of Washington. Ten grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. David was an industrial engineer with J&L Steel (Southside) in Pittsburgh, Pa for 36 years and was an avid
collector of movies, records and had a great passion and knowledge of trains.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all visitation will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in private in Woodruff Memorial Park.
