Destaney Burnette

Destaney Burnette, 40, of Washington passed away Thursday July 11, 2024.

She was born September 20, 1983 in Washington a daughter of Brenda Stienstraw of Washington and Barry Huggins of Washington.

Destaney was a self-employed house keeper.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, painting and playing Bingo.  She also enjoyed taking care of kids and helping others.

Surviving in addition to her parents is the love of her life Steven Patterson of Washington; three children, Steven Patterson, Issiah (Angie) Patterson and Maleah Patterson all of Washington. 

Surviving is a grandson RaMere, a sister Ashley McNinch, and two brothers Michael Stienstraw, Jr. and Shayne Coffield and her maternal grandmother Jean Burnette.

Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Clifford Burnette and her paternal grandparents Shirley and Bob Huggins.

Friends will be received from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday July 16, 2024 in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington.  Funeral Services will be held immediately following the viewing at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating at DeAngelo Funeral Home.
