Diana Burgess

Diana Burgess, 77, of Washington, PA passed away on Friday morning July 19, 2024 in her home. 
She was born on September 20, 1946 a daughter of the late Lloyd and Viola Brimm Burgess. 
A graduate of the Washington High School, she lived in Washington State for many years where she worked as the Program Operations Lead for Green River Community College. 
She is survived by her two loving sons Mark Jemison and wife Margaret of Washington, PA and James Ward and wife Acacia of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren Teaya Jemison, Tisha Jemison, Anna Ward, Makiah Gilmer, Lyric Howard and Kahloni Howard; four great grandsons Jakai, Damahre, Xerzhiah and Mohlu; two sisters Jean Anderson of Washington, PA and Carolyn Smith of Denver, CO; and several nieces and nephews. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. 
A Service celebrating her life is being planned for a later date. 
Arrangements are under the direction of the DeAngelo Funeral Home, Washington, PA.
