Dolores Kathleen Kelley

Dolores Kathleen “Kathy” Kelley, 75, of Washington passed away Monday May 4, 2026.

She was born on June 25, 1950 in Washington a daughter of the late Everette B. and Pearl M. Lytton Varner.

Kathy was Apostolic Pentecostal by faith and was a member of Jesus Church in Washington.

She loved dogs and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Kelly was the wife of the late James E. Kelley for 57 ½ years who passed away on February 6, 2025.  They married on August 20, 1967.

Surviving is a son Daniel Lee (Christina) Kelley of Church Hill, TN and her grandchildren Jamie Kelley III, Courtney Lee Kelley, Jessica Powell, Kimberly Crawford and Dawson Marquis and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons and a daughter Bryan Kelley, James Kelley, Jr. and Kathleen Kelley, a granddaughter Jenna Kelley and fourteen brothers and sisters.  She was the last of her immediate family.

Funeral services were held on Monday May 11, 2026 in Deangelo Funeral Home in Washington.  Interment was held in North Buffalo Cemetery in Washington.
