Donald Emerson Watkins

Donald Emerson Watkins, 87, of Eighty-Four passed away Friday March 18, 2022 in Transitions in Washington, PA.

He was born March 16, 1935 in Marianna, PA a son of the late Alva Freemont and Emma Letty Watkins.

He was an Honorably Discharge Veteran of the United States Army having served from 1958 to 1964.

Mr. Watkins’ primary employment for forty years was as a USDA Inspector.  He later enjoyed working as Service Representative for John Sisson Motors Mercedes-Benz dealership in Washington and thoroughly enjoyed driving the vehicles at work. 

He was a member of St. Hilary Church in Washington. 

Donald was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodge in Washington.

He was a loving family man and is survived by a daughter Donene (Mark Mills) of Canton, OH and a son Lee Watkins of Washington.  Also surviving are five grandchildren Gavin Sams, Jacia Watkins, Lucian Mills, Zeke Watkins and Reagyn Watkins, and two brothers Delbert and Gerald Watkins, and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased brothers and sisters are Edith, Phyllis, Geraldine, Clifford, Junior and Raymond.

All arrangements are private and there will be no public visitation.
