Eileen Cianelli

“Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother”

Eileen Cianelli, 84, of Canonsburg, died Friday May 22, 2015 in Canonsburg General Hospital with her loving family at her bedside.

She was born October 24, 1930, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Guiseppe and Lucia Perruso Conforti.

In 1948, she graduated from Canonsburg High School.

Mrs. Cianelli was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers.

She loved to cook and with her sweet smile would always say, "I hope we have enough food".  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

On May 8, 1949, she married Angelo Cianelli who survives.

They had three children.  Surviving are a son Don (Elena) Cianelli of Newtown Square, PA and a daughter Mary Ann (Chris) Child of Long Beach, CA.  Their daughter Lori Cianelli-Heasley (Jeff Buckel) passed away in September, 2014.  She also leaves seven grandchildren, Angelo Cianelli, Annalucia Cianelli, Peter (Tatiana) Cianelli, Samuel Cianelli, Grant Heasley, Michael Heasley and Gianna Heasley, and a great granddaughter Aubrey Cianelli-Mazzenga,

Surviving are a sister Josephine (Kenneth) Hudson of Laguna Woods, CA; a brother Anthony (Nancy) Conforti of Pittsburgh; a sister-in-law Chiara (Guerriero) Cianelli-D’Achille of Ardmore, PA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Deceased are her parents, a son-in-law Christopher Child and a brother-in-law Nick (Aldine) Cianelli Sr.

Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College Street in Canonsburg.   Departing prayers will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Thursday May 28, 2015 in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg.  Interment will follow in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Patrick Christian Mothers at 317 W. Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
