Elsie J. Fraley Ozarowsky, 80, of Washington beloved wife of Chester Ozarowsky went to her heavenly home on Monday January 25, 2016 in Washington County Health Center.
She was born on November 8, 1935 in Martin County, KY and raised in Pike County KY the daughter of John B and Mary Lou Alta McGinnis Fraley.
She graduated from Belfry High School in Belfry KY. She was a very kind and giving person, always giving of herself and time to others. She worked at Kozy Cottage Restaurant, Alberts Packing and Howard Johnson’s Restaurant. She then went into being an assistant to homemakers of several families. She was employed by the Ed Ryan family and their extended families and the Joe Hardy family and their extended family. She retired in her early sixties. She is loved and missed by many.
Elsie was proud of her down home Kentucky roots. From humble beginnings, she came from good, faithful, down to earth people, and made a wonderful life with her loving husband Chester whom she married on July 12, 1957. After their marriage, she and her husband moved to Washington where they would reside for the rest of her life.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter Carol (Bob) Paletta of Washington, a grandson Anthony Paletta, three grand daughters Alexandria, Anastasia and Angelica Paletta. Also surviving are three brothers Raymond (Jennie) Fraley, Wallace Fraley and Douglas (Patty) Fraley and two sisters LaVerne (John) McNatt and Ina (Robert) Boyle a sister-in-law Tina Bennett Fraley and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by three siblings Roy, Ray and Bertha Carol who all died in infancy. Also deceased are her parents, two sisters Veva (Dale) Riggle and Amanda Sue Maloy, a brother Merrill J. Fraley and a brother-in-law Dave Hampe.
At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 6, 2016 in Friendship Community Church at 1090 Weirich Ave. Washington, PA 15301 with Pastor Rick Bruckner and Pastor Tim Lindsay officiating.
