Obituary Estella J Burke

Estella J Burke, 83, of Washington PA, formerly Johnsonburg, NJ passed away Monday, March 22, 2021.   She was born February 25, 1938 in Louisville, Ky, the son of the late Edward L and Elsie Kent McEwen.

Friends and family loving knew her as Snooky.  She was active in her church and was a devote Christian.    She was preceded in death by the love of her life John Burke, her brother Charles McEwen Sr and sister Elsie Grant.    

Surviving are her niece Barbara McEwen, Donna (Timothy) Spina, Kathy Grant and nephews Charles McEwen Jr, Richard (Debbie) McEwen, Jay (Nancy) Grant, Rick (Lisa) Grant and many great nieces and nephews.   She was adored by all that new her, and especially her family.  

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday March 26th in the Mario L DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 E College St in Canonsburg.   A Memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Steven Parkhill officiating.    Interment will be at a later date.
