Florence Pietrowski, 91, of Canonsburg died Friday March 20, 2015 in Greenery Specialty Care.
She was born January 8, 1924 in Baldwin on Long Island, New York the daughter of William and Ella Morrison Washeim.
Mrs. Pietrowski was Protestant, a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the American Legion Post #175 in Washington and a forty-year member of the T.O.P.S. Club. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, gardening and playing the card game “Skip-Bo”.
Western Center State Hospital employed her as a nurse.
Her husband Alfred Pietrowski preceded her in death in 1996.
Surviving is a daughter Jill Eble of Canonsburg, and a son Kim (Fran) Pietrowski of Washington. Also surviving are two grandchildren William Pietrowski and Kaden Pushkarich, a brother Bruce (Rosemarie) Washeim of Florida and a few nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Florence Pietrowski, brother William Washeim Jr., and a sister Ella Apsley. At the request of the family, all funeral arrangements are private. Arrangements are in the care of DeAngelo Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.deangelocare.com
