Fred A. Toland

Fred A. Toland, 63, of Washington passed away Wednesday September 11, 2024 in Washington Hospital.

Spending time working on cars, riding Harley’s, and watching car shows on TV were among his favorite things to do.  He also enjoyed an occasional fishing trip.

Fred was born on July 21, 1961 in Washington a son of the late Fred Shrader and Nellie Toland.

Surviving are his two daughters Kandie (Joshua) Finney of Washington and Angela (Harold Hetzel) Montgomery also of Washington.  Also surviving is his ex-wife Rebecca Montgomery; two sisters Louise Toland and Thelma Toland both of Claysville; three grandchildren Nathen Montgomery, Kailynn Montgomery and Nikole Hetzel and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother during infancy.

Friends will be received from11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday September 15, 2024 in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington.  A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 Sunday in DeAngelo Funeral Home.
