Howard Dye Obituary

Howard E. Dye, 78, of Washington passed away Tuesday February 23, 2021 in Washington Hospital.

He was born January 13, 1943 in Washington the son of the late Howard E. and Ellen Carroll Dye.

Mr. Dye was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1961.

He was Lutheran by faith.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing bingo and was a social member of the American Legion Post # 175 in Washington.

McGraw Edison/Cooper Industries in Canonsburg employed him as a brazier. He was then employed as a maintenance supervisor at Pathways and then employed as a driver and supervisor for Washington County Community Services.

Surviving are a daughter Brenda L Lucas of Washington and two sons Keith H. (Donna) Dye of Ft. Myers, FL and Kevin M. Dye of Washington.

Also surviving are three sisters Carol A. Earliwine of Washington, Linda (Glenn) Happe of Port Charlotte, FL and Helen (Jim) Winters of Washington, three grandchildren Ranee Fleites. Steven Lucas and Benjamin Lucas and two great grandchildren.

Deceased is a brother in law Richard P. Earliwine.

Due to the pandemic, all funeral arrangements are private.  Entombment will be held in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are in the care of DeAngelo Funeral Home in Washington.
