Obituary
Howard Leech Livezey, 89, of Washington passed away peacefully on Monday April 3, 2023 in Washington Hospital.
He was born April 23, 1933 in North Strabane Township a son of the late Howard and Naomi Leech Livezey.
Mr. Livezey was Presbyterian by faith.
He enjoyed playing golf, working outdoors in his yard and was an avid automotive enthusiast.
He was a member Rotary International.
A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Unites States Army.
On April 7, 1962 Howard married Shirley Eicholtz who preceded him in death on January 22, 2020.
Surviving are his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Dorothy Pavloff of West Mifflin, Kathryn Madzy of Washington and Charlie and Cindy Eicholtz of Dalton, GA, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday April 7, 2023 in the Funeral Home by Rev. Charles F. Eicholtz. Interment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Cecil Township at 11:00 a.m. Friday. Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Army and the American Legion Post #175 Honor Guard.
