James A. Dimmack, 37, of Washington died unexpectedly on Monday May 11, 2015 in his home.

He was born July 1, 1977 in Washington the son of Richard L. Dimmack of Avella and the late Patricia A. Boylan Dimmack.

Mr. Dimmack was a graduate of Washington High School and received his associate degree from Community College of Allegheny County.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Washington.

Although an all around sports enthusiast, he enjoyed baseball most of all especially Pirate Baseball.  He loved to make people laugh, and always had a funny story to tell.

He co-owned Dimmack Brothers Lawn Care.

Surviving in addition to his father is a sister Teri Dimmack of Altoona, a brother Christopher Dimmack of Philadelphia, his maternal grandfather James H. Boylan, a sister-in-law Julie Dimmack, his nephew and two nieces Simon, Dorothy and Beatrix Dimmack.  Also surviving are his aunts and uncles David and Martha Dimmack, Susan Corbett, Mary Ellen and Alan Jutca, Thomas and Lois Boylan, and Terry and Myles Meehan.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother Richard Dimmack, his maternal grandmother Dorothy Boylan, his paternal grandparents Richard and Betty Dimmack and his aunt and uncle David and Kathleen Madigan.

Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Friday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Ave. in Washington. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friday in DeAngelo Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 16, 2015 in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church at 317 West Chestnut Street in Washington.  Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray.  Memorial contributions may be made to JFK School Tuition Fund.
