John Oliver Martin, Sr., 80 of Washington passed away Friday April 15, 2022 in Washington Hospital.

He was born on March 25, 1942 in Washington a son of the late Lawrence L. and Nora J. Jones Martin, Sr.

He enjoyed building model cars, playing cards and shooting pool.

He was employed by his brother’s company, Martin Painting, as a painter.

Surviving are four children Patricia Martin of Washington, Lisa Elliott of Taylorstown, John Oliver (Tracy) Martin, Jr. of Washington and Melissa (Josh) Hartley of Bentleyville seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also surviving are two siblings Raymond (Shirley) Martin and Florence Gheen and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents are a brother Lawrence L. Martin, Jr. and a sister Norma Jean Gheen and a few great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of DeAngelo Funeral Home in Washington.
