Jonathan Michael Gillespie, III, of Washington passed away Friday April 17, 2025 in UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born March 3, 2010 in Washington a son of Jonathan Michael Gillespie Sr. of Washington and Angela Moschell of Greensburg.
Jonathan was very mechanically inclined and loved working on his dirt bike.
He enjoyed wrestling and playing football for Trinity Middle School, and loved spending time at the park.
He loved spending time goofing off with his friends and hanging out at his dad’s.
Surviving are three sisters Jasmine (Fiancè Jacob Wiley) Gillespie, Asia Gillespie and Kristina Gillespie all of Washington; grandparents Debra (Tom Thompson) Gillespie of Washington, Rose (Jake) Miller of Washington, Charles Gillespie of Washington and great grandmother Wanda Bolinsky of Washington.
Also surviving are his uncles Shane Gillespie, Adam Gillespie and Vearney Moschell III, several cousins, and a nephew Jace Wiley a great aunt Tammy (Fiancè William Daniels) Deyell
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Vearney Moschell III, great grandfather George Bolinsky and a brother Jonathan Michael Gillespie, Jr.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday April 26, 2025 in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home immediately following the viewing at 3:00 on Saturday.
