Joseph B. Hatok, 89, Canonsburg passed away Saturday April 6, 2024.
He was born May 9, 1934 in Wilmerding, PA in Allegheny County, son of the late Stephen and Veronica (Reber) Hatok.
He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Canonsburg.
He liked golfing, collecting shark’s teeth, and playing roulette at the Meadows.
Joe was a self-employed electrical draftsman and designer.
Surviving are five children Cynthia Hatok of Canonsburg, David Hatok of Baden, Bernadette Hatok of Harrisburg, Alan (Tracy) Hatok of Oakmont and Timothy (Amy) Hatok of Poquoson, VA.
Also surviving are two sister Marian Kowatch (late Andrew) of Murrysville, Patricia (Terry) Baughman of York, PA, two granddaughters Jeannie Hatok (Brad), Madeline Hatok, seven grandsons David (Nyomin) Hatok, Christopher Hatok, Russell Hatok, Peter Hatok, William Hatok, Alexander Hatok, Lucas Hatok, a great granddaughter Eliana and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Stephen Hatok, Robert Hatok, Irene Intorre (late Tony); and a granddaughter Elizabeth Hatok.
Friends will be received from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday April 12, 2024 in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College Street in Canonsburg. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM Friday. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army and the VFW Post 191 Honor Guard.
Interment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
