Joseph Thomas

Joseph Thomas, 90, of Canonsburg passed away Friday October 25, 2024 in WeCare of South Hills in Canonsburg.

He was born March 30, 1934 in Green County a son of the late John R. and Anna Commodore Nugent Thomas.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War from 1952-1955, Loved Magic and telling jokes, Card Games, and golf.  Joe was an over the road truck driver for many years. 

Preceded in death by his long term partner, Verna Wise, who died in 2023, also Survived by his “step” children, Sonny (Lisa) Kerr, Kimberly Donahue, Timmy (Beth) Wise

Grandchildren who lovingly called him Pappy Joe, AJ (Jackie) Kerr, Austin (Becca) Kerr, JD (Jamie) Donahue, & TJ (Haleigh Palmer) Wise, as well as 5 great grandchildren and one on the way.

Surviving are a few nieces and nephews.  He was the last of his immediate family.
