Kayla Nichole Demo, 36, of Washington passed away Saturday June 6, 2026 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born March 26, 1990, she was the daughter of Edna and William Miller of Washington.
Kayla was employed in the retail industry at Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonald’s, Tractor Supply and a housekeeper at Premier and Transitions Healthcare.
Kayls loved all animals, especially polar bears and penguins.
She was a member of Bentleyville Presbyterian Church in Bentleyville, PA.
During her years at Bentleyville High School Kayla was a member of the Leo Club, and the Silks (flag corps). She did hip-hop dance, played soccer and was a member of the Girl Scouts of America.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her great-aunt Elsie Featherlin, and her aunts and uncles Nellie Crawford, Mary Diesel, John and Vicky Lesjak, Linda Miller, Dianne Miller, Connie, Mary Lou Demo, and Michael Demo and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Gladys and Mike Demo and her paternal grandparents Betty and Dale Miller.
Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday June 12, 2026 with Rev. Al Wettach officiating. Burial will follow in The Washington Cemetery.
The family suggests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
