Kristie D. Signorini, 67, of Washington passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2022 in her home following a ten month battle with cancer.
She was born August 23, 1954 in Washington a daughter of the late Raymond, Sr. and Ruth McCullough Ruffalo.
Mrs. Signorini was a graduate of Avella High School.
Ball Glass Company and then Axcera employed her most recently as an Instructor until her retirement in 2001.
Family was most important to Kristie. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Kristie had a gift for making people laugh. If you were fortunate enough to spend time with her, you were sure to laugh and leave feeling better.
Kristie was an avid Steeler fan and never missed a game. She traveled to many away games with family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed the excitement of watching the Penguins too.
She was a skilled baker and shared her delightful creations with friends and family.
On August 16, 1980 in St. Elizabeth Church in Hill Station, she married Dino M. Signorini, Sr. who survives.
Surviving are a daughter Renee (Craig) Schoenfelder of Cecil and a son Dino (Christina) Signorini, Jr. of Lone Pine, five grandchildren Tyler and Austin Schoenfelder, Abi Rugg, Kaytlynn Signorini and Jynah Signorini, and one great grandson Daniel Rugg.
Also surviving are a sister Kathryn (Paul) Hatalsky of Houston and three brothers Raymond (Linda) Ruffalo, Andy Ruffalo and Mickey (Margaret) Ruffalo of Strabane and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Friday July 29, 2022 with Father Tom Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
