Mary Edna Ullom Worobec, 83, of Washington, passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 20, 2021.
She was born April 3, 1938, in Washington. She was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Holiskey Ullom.
Mary was a 1956 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School. She attended grade school through high school at Immaculate Conception.
On March 21, 1959, she married David Richard Worobec who survives. She began married life as the wife of a Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force. She enjoyed living all over the world with Germany being her favorite. They celebrated sixty-two years of marriage this year.
Mary loved her family, especially her grand-children and great grand-children. They were her reason for living and she would do anything for them. Mary loved spending the weekend shopping with her grand-daughters and she loved traveling.
Surviving in addition to her husband, David, are three children Lynn Kulla of Washington, David Worobec of Canonsburg and Kathy Jo Morris of Washington; nine grandchildren, Chris (Stefanie) Kulla, Carissa Worobec, Brandy (Jim) Steenson, Cody Kulla, Annissa Worobec, James (Ashley) Morris Jordan Morris, Leah Kilpatrick, and David Worobec; and ten great-grandchildren Taylor, Allison, Kaylor, Lexie, Brayden, Logan, Hensley, Olivia, Theo, and Cecilia. Also surviving are a sister Dottie (Sam) Desmond and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Payton.
At the request of the family visitation will be private. All are invited to attend a mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday December 27, 2021 in Immaculate Conception Church in Washington. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens in McMurray. Arrangements are in the care of DeAngelo Funeral Home in Washington. A tribute wall is available at www.deangelocare.com.
