I am thinking about you today. No matter how old we are, or how long we have had our mothers, it is always a sad day when they pass. It sounds like you had a very special mother, who helped lots of people. This is something to remember.

Last time I saw you, Grandma, you said, "I'll be glad to get rid of *this* thing!" as you pointed to your walker. Well, now you have. I like to think of you now, freed from all the limitations of your body... beholding Love Himself and joined again with your husband, your second daughter, your sister, your mother... and so many more! Someday, when the time is right, we will each join you... and it will help to know you have made this journey before us. Holding you close in my heart, Grandma. Love you always.

Mary Ellen Vogler was my Godmother and I could not have asked for a better example of faith, love and family. Dear Jesus, accept your faithful servant into your loving arms. To all of Mary Ellen's family, my condolences and assurance that this great lady made the world a better place for all who came in contact with her.

To Mary Ellens family. Please accepet my sympathy for the loss of your mom. I worked with her for many years and new her first through the florians. She and I took colllege classes together in the early 70's. She talked about her children all the time as well as the Florian Children. She was a wonder caring person and I sure misssed seeing her after my family moved out of state. I have some beautiful buterfly pins she gave me many years ago. She was good to me as well as everyone she knew and was also a wonderful cowowrker. blessings and Prayers for her family and extended families.

"Aunt Sis" was always my favorite. I could sit and listen to her for hours as she had so many things she was interested in. As the youngest in my family there weren't always others my age around and I remember how Aunt Sis always made sure I had things to do. One summer she put up a badminton net so that we could play in the back yard. She went out to play with me because no other kids were around. That's the way she was, she thought of others before herself.
The love that Aunt Sis and Uncle Bill had for each other was always obvious. They made you believe in love and that "Happily Ever After" is real.
I know that I am a better mother and grandmother because of the example she set.
Aunt Sis, you are loved and will be missed.

I will miss Aunt Mary Ellen. She and Uncle Bill would often meet Jodi and me when we came to visit Grandma Vogler in Wheeling. We would sometimes have dinner with them and Uncle Dan and Aunt Mary Louise before we drove back to Columbus, OH. It was nice to talk to her at the family reunions. I will always treasure those memories.
