Nancy S. Donnelly, 74, of Canton Township passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family Monday July 18, 2022 in her home.
She was born October 22, 1947 in Canonsburg the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Hritsko Backner.
She was retired from SKC Industries in Eighty-Four who employed her in assembly and environmental.
She enjoyed shopping, Bingo, reading and dancing, but most of all loved spending time with family.
Surviving is a daughter Tamara “Tammy” Brockway of Washington and three grandchildren Matthew Brockway, Jonathon Brockway, and Caanan McClain.
Also surviving is her lifelong dear friend Marian Stilwell and her "adopted daughters" Jennifer Loar and Debbie Lutz and her nieces and nephews including Michael Anesetti, Mary Louise Farrie, and Eugene Farrie and several more nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by a brother Peter Backner and a sister Maryanne Farrie.
Friends will be received from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College Street in Canonsburg. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 4:00 p.m. Friday July 22, 2022 in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Lindsay officiating.
