Nancy J. (Kolesar) Ronto

Nancy J. Kolesar Ronto, 79, of North Strabane Township passed away Tuesday August 27, 2024 in Greenery Center for Rehab and Nursing.

She was born April 17, 1945 in Sewickley a daughter of the late Andrew and Ann Dofner Kolesar.

Nancy was a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching classic movies.  She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.                                                

On October 4, 1969 she married John A. Ronto who passed away August 19, 2024.

Surviving are three children John D. (Linda) Ronto of Washington, Beth A. (Richard) Napoleon of Pittsburgh and Amy J. (Steven) Rogalsky of Canonsburg. Also surviving are seven grandchildren Julianna (Christopher) Wheatley, Jenna Ronto, Anthony Napoleon, Steven Rogalsky, Andrew Napoleon, Ashley Rogalsky, and Jack Napoleon.  Surviving are two sisters Johanna Gruszczynski of Economy and Patricia (William) Ramsey of Industry, and several Nieces and Nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ann Reese.

Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday August 31, 2024 in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College Street in Canonsburg.  A Blessing Service will be held at 1:00 Saturday immediately following the viewing with Deacon Tony Mobley officiating.  Interment will be at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
