Patsy Joseph Tatano, Jr. 59, of Canonsburg died unexpectedly on Monday June 29, 2015 in his home.
He was born July 28, 1955 in Canonsburg the son of the late Patsy and Carmela DeVitis Tatano.
He was a graduate of Canon McMillan High School Class of 1974. Following high school he attended the Ivy School of Professional Art in Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a 32nd Degree Mason in Oakland and was a member of the Shriners.
Mr. Tatano loved classic cars and was an antique toy collector. He was a member of the Italian American Cultural and Heritage Society of Washington County.
For thirty-eight years he and his brother George operated a well respected auto body business known as Tatano Brothers Auto Body in Canonsburg.
Surviving are a son Patsy James Tatano , three brothers Frank Tatano of Canonsburg, George (Lisa Herforth) Tatano of Houston and Jimmy (Mary Ashford) Tatano of Canonsburg and a sister Toni (Michael) Sessa of Avella.
Also surviving is one niece Rachel Tatano and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew Edward Ashford.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College St. Canonsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday July 7, 2015 in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
