Philip Falconi Obituary

Philip Falconi, 88, of Southpoint passed away peacefully on Monday August 16, 2021 at home.

He was born July 27, 1933 in Lawrence the son of Dominick and Jennie Castelli Falconi.

Mr, Falconi enjoyed English Riding (Horses), Trips to Maine and playing cards with Bobbie or Lisa, but most of all spending time with his grandsons.

Mr. Falconi was a Real Estate Developer who accomplished his vision of building the Washington Mall in Washington, PA and numerous other projects.  He also owned several new car auto dealerships throughout the region since the 1950s.  Toyota was one of the major automotive brands that he owned and operated, as well as many other foreign and domestic brands.

On August 14, 1965 he married Ruthann Golsky with whom he recently celebrated 56 years of marriage.

Surviving in addition to his wife Ruthann are two daughters Terri (Mark) German of Naples, FL and Lisa Falconi also of Naples, FL; and his son Phillip J. “PJ” Falconi of Canonsburg.  Also surviving is a sister Yolanda Passalacqua of Canonsburg and the loves of his life, his grandsons Rocco and Massimo Falconi.

Several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Gladys Boozer Falconi and two sisters Mary Dalbo and Fern Tonti.

Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Friday in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College Street in Canonsburg.  Funeral services and entombment in Queen of Heaven “Mary Mother of the Church” Mausoleum will be private and held at a later date.

The family suggests that donations may be made to Washington Area Humane Society at 1527 PA Rt. 136, Washington, PA 15301 or to World Series Tournaments, Inc. at P.O. Box 1115, Washington, PA 15301.
