Rebecca Lynn Dungee

It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Rebecca Lynn Dungee, of Washington PA, announces her passing on July 22, 2021 , at the age of 64.

Rebecca passed away peacefully at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh PA, and will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Myla Dungee and her partner Roy Berdine, daughter Nita Riffle and her husband Stephen Riffle, stepson Gerald David Dungee II, step-daughter Wendy Peterson (Dungee) and her husband David Peterson along with seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and an eighth grandchild due in November.  Rebecca is further survived by her brother Brian Cunningham and his wife Heather Cunningham and her beloved feline “Boo”. Rebecca is predeceased by her husband Gerald D. Dungee.

Rebecca was born on August 23,1956 in Weirton WV to Cecil Norman Cunningham and Mona Jean Pleasants.  She married Gerald D Dungee I May 21, 1976. Rebecca was a devoted wife and loving mother who enjoyed caring for her family.  She was a member of the Washington Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses where she developed friendships which she cherished and enjoyed. She had a fantastic sense of humor and was very kind and considerate to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
