Richard Edward “Doodle” Kunkle, 67, of Canonsburg died Wednesday May 29, 2019 in his home. Surviving are three children; George, Philip and Elizabeth; and two sisters, Dianna Gallo and Lucille (Rich) Slater, both of Canonsburg; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mayview State Hospital employed him as a Psychiatric Aid for thirty-three years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pinochle, and going to the Meadows Casino.
He enjoyed spending time with his best friend and brother-in-law, Frank Gallo, who preceded him in death. A brother George Kunkle, Jr. is deceased.
