Robert L. Neel

Robert L. Neel, 54, of Washington died Tuesday July 14, 2015 in Washington Health System.

He was born March 13, 1961 in Washington the son of Bobby Neel and the late Jean McCloud Neel.

Mr. Neel was protestant. 

He loved to ride his motorcycle and go off-roading in his two wheel drive pickup truck.  He also enjoyed watching Westerns on television, but most of all loved spending time with his family.

The Greenery Health and Rehabilitation Center in Canonsburg employed his as a maintenance worker for twenty-eight years.

On June 13, 1981 he married Robin L. Loar Neel who resides in Washington.

Surviving are two daughters Danielle (Shawn) Chase of Donora, Lashondra Neel of Washington, two sons Robert Jr. (Shelly) Neel of Marianna and Charles Neel of Washington, a sister Sue Eckert of Washington and a brother Clyde Neel of Muse.  Also surviving are four grandchildren Charles Chase, Jeremy Chase, Austin Chase and Myranda Neel, many nieces, nephews, cousins and three aunts.

Deceased in addition to his mother is a brother William Neel and a nephew Colby Loar.

Friends will be received from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Ave. in Washington. 

Arrangements for a funeral service to be held Friday are incomplete and will be announced in Thursday’s edition.  He will be laid to rest next to his mother in Braddock Cemetery in Graysville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help offset funeral expenses.
