Stanley “Rusty” M. Osiecki, 89, of North Strabane Township passed away Monday January 17, 2022 in McMurray Hills Manor in Peters Township.
He was born May 5, 1932 in Canonsburg a son of Konstanty and Mary Kutkowski Osiecki.
Mr. Osiecki was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Polish National Catholic Church in Canonsburg where he was an altar server.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a life member of the Canonsburg Sportsman’s Club and a thirty-five year member of the American Legion Post #902 in Houston. He was also a member of the USWA while employed by Columbia Gas Company in their service department.
On October 21, 1955 in Holy Trinity Church in Washington, he married Anna Mae Cononge who survives.
Surviving are two daughters Marcy (Mike) Shea of Waynesboro, and Marianne (Tony) Severine of Farmington, IL; five grandchildren Bob (Alicia) Shea, Megan (Matt) Burton, Bryan (Meghan) Severine, Leigha (Cody) Payne and Craig Severine. Also surviving are two great grandchildren Nicole (Quinton) Perry, Jacob (Mandy) Shea, and Lincoln Payne.
Deceased are a sister Jennie Mihalko and two brothers Frank and Chester Osiecki.
Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday January 21, 2022 in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 194 East College Street in Canonsburg. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Father Mark Swoger officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the United States Air Force and the VFW Post #191 Honor Guard. Interment will be held at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
