Thelma Lee Toland

Thelma Lee Toland, 68, of Claysville passed away Thursday February 12, 2026 in Premier of Washington Health Center.

She was born August 27, 1957 in Claysville a daughter of the late Fred Shrader and Nellie Toland.

Thelma was employed as a nurse’s aid at Buck Springs Nursing Home in West Alexander.

She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, vegetable and floral gardening and working and spending time in the outdoors.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Larry Dinch. 

Surviving is a sister Louise Toland and several nieces and nephews including her niece Maria Atkinson with home she shared a special friendship.   Also surviving are several great nieces and great nephew.

Deceased are two brothers Fred and William Toland.

Friends will be received from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday February 18, 2026 in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington.  A Celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday immediately following the viewing.
