Violet A. (Cononge) Mrock

Violet A. Cononge Mrock, 91, of Washington passed away Friday January 1, 2021 in Washington Hospital.

She was born May 13, 1929 in Strabane, a daughter of the late Edmond and Anna Rodenski Cononge, Sr.

Brockway Glass Company employed her in General Production for forty-five years.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, but her favorite thing that she like to do was to sit on her front porch and speak to her friends and neighbors as they would walk by.

She also enjoyed word search puzzles.

On December 30, 2003, she married Lloyd Mrock who passed away January 27, 2011.

Surviving are two sisters Mary Spetek of Weirton, WV, Anna Mae (Stanley) Osiecki of Canonsburg and a brother Edmond (Nancy) Cononge, Jr. of Canonsburg.  She enjoyed a special closeness with a niece Cathy Spetek.

Deceased is a brother-in-law Joseph Spetek and a nephew Alan Cononge.

All funeral arrangements were private with entombment in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum.
